The Del Mar Kiwanis held their 11th annual ugly dog contest near San Diego, California, on March 12, 2006. While their website includes an image of world famous ugly dog Sam, his tragic death in late 2005 opened the field for new contenders.
Winning this year’s ugliest dog title was Victoria, a four year old Italian greyhound with an amputated tail and encephalitic disfigurement (Dear Readers, if you have pictures of her, please send them to us here at DogExplorer.com
