From the land of the Vienna Sausage comes news that dogs and their people are now eligible for a Hundefuehrerschein, or dog driving license.
It’s a voluntary program intended to promote good pet etiquette at both ends of the leash. For those who pass the skills demonstration and written exams, an exemption from the annual dog tax of about $53.00 will be issued along with a bundle of coupons and donated items. It costs $30.00 to take the test.
