A woman living in China’s Inner Mongolian Autonomous Regional city of Hohhot decided to teach her dog to drive, according to the official government Xinhua News Agency.
Either the woman, only described as Li, was not a very good teacher, or her dog was a poor student.
While Li controlled the gas pedal and brake the dog had a go at steering. Perhaps the canine student driver was expecting UK traffic rules as the pair quickly crashed head-on with another car.
No injuries were reported and Li apparently paid for the damage to the other automobile.
