Bulldog beware is the lesson taught by this pet insurance customer’s experience trying to compel her company to honor her dog’s policy. The woman, an experienced pet health professional who works as a vet tech says that after her first claim was paid by the company, a second claim on a different problem related to the Bulldog’s eye lids was denied.
She enlists the aid of her local television station’s consumer affairs reporter to troubleshoot the policy and attitude of the insurance company. Reports are filed with a Texas State Agency and the Better Business Bureau before the unnamed pet insurance company finally agrees to pay for both the claim and medications.
