A man in Edwardsville, Illinois, allegedly broke his incarcerated canine out of the pound when he could not pay the costs of a more “conventional” release.
According to a story from the Associated Press, Thomas Carroll, 20, is now facing two felony burglary counts for his efforts to free his dog Titus and two other impounded pooches.
The AP says Titus is back in the slammer and up for adoption.
