Some pictures do say a thousand words…

Have you ever been so sad about leaving a place that you actually feel like you want to cry? That was me yesterday. This past weekend we were spoiled rotten with a stay @headlandslodge – HAVE YOU SEEN THIS PLACE? If you were following along with my stories you will know it is INCREDIBLE (I created a highlight on my profile as well in case you missed them)! I am all for sleeping in tents and vans and not showering for days but every once in a while it is nice to have a little luxury. Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa was just that! Best thing though? It was DOG-FRIENDLY! Sitting oceanfront in Pacific City, right along side Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area, Headlands has something for everyone. If you want to HEAD OUT on an adventure the room comes with complementary Fat Tire bikes – you can cruise the beach or check out what Pacific City has to offer. In addition to biking, there are waves to surf, trails to hike, whales to watch and dunes to climb – all nearby – and if you need help planning what to do, Headlands has Adventure Coaches ready to help you plan your trip! If adventure isn’t your thing you can STAY IN and enjoy your room (I wont lie – I did a lot of this). Each room has a spa style bathroom with a shower and a cast iron soaking tub and views of Haystack Rock from your private balcony! The dogs were even welcomed with super comfortable dog beds, hand crafted water dishes and home-made treats! I could go on all day about how awesome this place is – I seriously cant wait to go back! As you can see from the pictures – I think Arlo and Finn agree! Check out the link in my bio to learn more! Thank you so much for having us @headlandslodge – when can we move in? — #headtoheadlands #sunset #oregoncoast #ilovemydog #dogmomlife
