Glad you asked!
1) Click on the link to our picture galleries.
2) If you have not already registered as a member of the picture galleries portion of our site, please follow the next two steps. If you are already registered member of the picture gallery (registration on the main site and forums will not work there), please skip these next two steps.
3) Once you are in the picture galleries, click the “Register” link and fill out the form.
4) Check your e-mail at the address you just entered on the registration form, and click on the link to confirm your registration.
5) Login to the picture galleries.
6) Click the “Upload file” link.
7) Select the picture (it should be a jpeg or jpg format) from your computer. IMPORTANT: The file size must be 100 kb or smaller. Any bigger and the upload will fail.
8) Click “CONTINUE” at the bottom of the page.
9) If the upload was successful (and since you made the file size under 100 kb and you selected a jpg or jpeg file it was, right?), again click “CONTINUE” at the bottom of the page.
10) IMPORTANT: Select the “Album” for your image. If it is a contest entry, scroll through the list until you find the right contest. If it is a breed picture, please select the correct breed, etc.
11) Title the file. Please give us the dog’s name and the correct spelling of its breed (Mutt if mixed) in the title. You can add additional details of the picture and situation in the file description area.
12) In the keywords, again please give us the correct spelling of the dog’s breed (it will help with searching for this picture), its name would be fine here too, and separate these words with spaces.
13) Please again enter the dog’s breed correctly spelled (we just cut and paste from the title to make all this easier and prevent typos!).
14) When done, click “CONTINUE” at the bottom of the page.
15) And that’s it!
16) If you have uploaded more than one image, the system will take you through all of your uploads in order. Make sure you place them all before leaving the website.
17) Oh, and tell your friends and family where to see your favorite pooch!
