Yoda, a Downers Grove cat is making animal news all over the world. The little feline is well, unusual. Instead of the normal two ears, Yoda has four ear flaps.
The strange cat belongs to Ted Rock and his wife Valerie Rock. Published reports say the extra ears are simply flaps of skin caused by a birth defect.
This is yet another example of animal adoption bringing the unexpected elements into someone’s life.
Apparently, the Rocks were watching a Chicago Bears football game at a local bar when the establishment’s owner brought little Yoda out to see if one of the patron’s would be interested in adopting a cat with 4 ears.
Ted Rock said he took one look and fell in love with Yoda, according to one published account.
