The AP is reporting that Ginny, a 17 year old schnauzer-Siberian husky mix, will be honored with a memorial service on November 19, 2005, during the Westchester Cat Show (WCS).
Ginny, who died in August, was previously honored at the 1998 WCS as “Cat of the Year” for her track record of rescuing cats.
According to the AP story, Ginny was a rescue adopted from a shelter.
